I practice full person care across the life spectrum from delivering babies, to elderly patients and everything in between. I emphasize that a healthy lifestyle is essential to health and the treatment of disease. My special interests include: adolescent/teen health, public health, and community medicine.

Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, I graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I then worked for four years in Chinle, Arizona with the Indian Health Service in a remote area of the Navajo reservation. In addition to practicing full-spectrum family medicine, I worked in a school-based adolescent health clinic and served as the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine. My special interests include adolescent health and pregnancy, community medicine, public health/primary care integration, quality improvement processes and the care of the underserved. I currently serve on the Board of Health for the Health Department of Larimer County. I became Associate Program Director in 2015 and am having a blast working on curriculum development.
