Amy Marks was born and raised in Rockford, IL. She began her health care journey as a CNA in a nursing home while going to nursing school. She originally obtained her associates in nursing (ASN) in December 2003 and worked primarily inpatient cardiology, some PACU, as well as outpatient cardiac rehab.

She went on to obtain her BSN in 2011 and became a cardiovascular nurse shortly after. Amy graduated with a MSN in nursing leadership January 2016. She moved to Fort Collins in May 2017 and back to the bedside with the float pool at MCR in Loveland. Amy worked at Family Medicine Center as part of her FNP degree program and joined the FMC team after that. In her free time, Amy loves to read and learn new things. She stays active by hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, and really anything outdoors.
