It takes a village to raise a human, and I am honored to be a part of that village for the patients I serve. As a newborn hospitalist I relish in getting to empower parents to trust their instincts and help them feel the awe of bringing a new life into the world. Whether it is establishing breastfeeding, decisions about circumcision, or which type of swaddle to use, I am honored to help guide families to listen to their instincts while providing evidence based medical advice to help guide the decision process. As a pediatric hospitalist, I care for sick children who require hospitalization and I understand how scary this can be for a child and family. My goal is to provide the highest quality of evidence based care while providing comfort and reassurance throughout the hospital stay. Children are amazingly resilient and it is a privilege to care for all children I meet and to help families feel empowered, supported and cared for throughout the journey back to health.

As a Colorado native, I love being back in Colorado after completing my medical training and early career at Children’s Nebraska. I have an amazing husband and together we are so grateful for our children and family. We love spending time exploring the outdoors and being with family. I enjoy gardening, running, cooking and being a mom.
