The one thing I value the most as a physician is making relationships with my patients so that we can be a team to solve any problems that they may be having. I do this by taking the time to listen and offering guidance as to the potential solutions. I like to emphasize preventative/wellness care and will often suggest lifestyle modifications before medications if appropriate. As a D.O. I was taught to treat the whole patient and not just the symptom and I think patients benefit from this type of practice.
I was raised in Lyons and currently live there now with my husband, dogs, and kids when they are back from college. I love being outdoors and listening to live music. My clinical interests are wellness/preventative care, women’s care, managing chronic medical conditions.
