I strive to provide holistic patient-centered care. I believe this can be achieved through patient education and a multidisciplinary team approach that focuses on healing and helping the patient obtain optimal quality of life.
Why I choose UCHealth
UCHeath has always been a leader in the industry with a positive work place environment. I want to be a part of an organization that focuses on the patient with goals of constantly improving care through education and support of the care teams.
Why I got in profession
After working as a nurse for seven years in critical care and emergency medicine, it was clear that I wanted to be more involved in direct patient outcomes. I went back to school to obtain my nurse practitioner license. During my career as a registered nurse, I was always drawn to the neurological patients. I have always felt the neurological processes often need extra compassion and patient advocacy that I so enjoying being able to give to patients.
My family and hobbies
I grew up on the Western Slope and lived in Missouri and Arizona prior to returning to Colorado to raise my children. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have three children (the youngest two are twins). My free time is spent trying to keep up with my kids while trying to fit in reading, cooking and (my family’s favorite) baking. We love living in Colorado as the weather is perfect. We enjoy being active with our kids and enjoying the fresh air.
