Dr. Alex is the lead physician at UCHealth Grandview Medical Center (Formerly Front Range Medical Arts). He is a classically trained osteopathic physician, a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, who believes in making healthy living choices and promoting the body’s natural ability to heal itself before implementing pharmacotherapies. He offers Osteopathic Manipulation to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
He has been practicing in Colorado Springs for over a decade and has received many awards including: Colorado Springs Style Magazine “Top Doc” award winner 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020; Colorado Spring Independent newspaper “Best of” Award 2016, and multiple Vitals “Patient Choice” and “Most Compassionate Doctor” awards.
He serves as the Medical Director for the UCCS Master’s in Athletic Training program and volunteers as the Team Doctor for Doherty High School. He is a Certified Ringside Physician and works most of the professional boxing and Mixed Martial Arts events in Colorado. He serves as the Physician Advisor Board Member for the Colorado State Combative Sports Commission. He has appeared multiple times with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Showtime boxing, HBO Boxing, NBCSports and many others.
He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly-fishing and mountain biking.
