Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy

Please call 970.276.1663 to start the registration process for scheduling an appointment.  During this call, you will discuss insurance benefits and medical history to ensure your child gets matched with the appropriate therapists.

After you complete this process, you will call 970.879.8826 to schedule your future appointments.

Conditions and treatments


  • Absence of listening to speech and making cooing sounds by 3 months
  • Absence of babbling (tatata, bababa, etc.) and attending to environmental sounds
  • Absence of words by 18 months
  • Absence of two-word phrases that have a message by 2 years
  • Undeveloped play skills

Elementary & older

  • Unclear speech
  • Word-finding problems
  • Stuttering
  • Poor understanding of concepts
  • Difficulty following directions; may require frequent repetitions
  • Difficulty naming, describing, relating events and retelling stories.
  • Inappropriate pitch, volume, rate, resonance of voice for the child’s age and gender
  • Poor school performance
  • Medical diagnosis is known to impact development

Motor concerns

  • Delays in gross, fine, visual or motor skills
  • Musculoskeletal problems such as torticollis or scoliosis
  • Frequent falls or tripping
  • Awkward movement patterns
  • Avoidance of playground equipment
  • Decreased coordination and balance
  • Decreased postural control and endurance
  • Difficulty in school: poor attention span, poor handwriting, impulsivity
  • Difficulty with self-care such as grooming and dressing
  • Equipment needs: orthotics, aids for self-care or mobility, special seating
  • Sensory concerns: seeks out or avoids movement and touch
  • Mobility issues: poor gait or difficulty in moving between surfaces
  • Poor body awareness
  • Medical diagnosis is known to impact development
