How to find the Radiology clinic in the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion (AIP)
- Enter the main hospital AIP entrance.
- Walk straight back toward the elevators and turn left (west) at the main corridor, toward Elevator Bank E. Pass the gift shop and the Garden View Café, and continue to Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion 2 (AIP 2).
- Take the elevators marked with the letter “E” down to the basement level.
- At the basement level, walk into the Diagnostic Radiology waiting room. Watch for posted signs.
Specialized procedures
Ultrasound-guided biopsy for thyroid or lymph node
We use ultrasound for this biopsy to help guide where we place the needles. Before your biopsy, we will perform an ultrasound exam of your neck. Please let someone in the ultrasound clinic know if you have any current medical conditions or allergies.
