Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy at Poudre Valley Hospital is used to help accelerate and promote wound healing, based on approved indications from UHMS (Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society) guidelines.
Much of the success of your treatment depends on you. You must keep your appointments, follow instructions carefully, and watch your progress closely between visits. If at any time during your treatment you or your family members have questions, our staff is available.
Call and make an appointment with us if you have an open wound that has not started to heal in two weeks or hasn’t healed completely within six weeks.
