UCHealth laboratories are committed to providing high quality, cost-effective laboratory services throughout metro Colorado. Our goal is to provide excellent patient care through quality laboratory testing and commitment to customer service.
The UCHealth Laboratory – Lone Tree has a walk-in Express Laboratory located on Floor 1, check into 1st floor front desk. For scheduled laboratory tests, please go to Floor 3, and check into the 3rd floor front desk.
Lab hours on holidays
Our hours may vary on holidays or during weeks when a holiday is observed. If you would like a walk-in appointment, please call ahead to confirm holiday hours.
- Closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch
Appointments are highly encouraged and can be made through My Health Connection of the UCHealth App. In the event that you cannot schedule an appointment, we also accept walk-in appointments. Please note that walk-in appointments are accommodated on a first come, first served basis and wait times may vary.
Walk-In Express Laboratory
Specimen drop-off: If you are dropping off a specimen, you will still be required to make an appointment, and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
Patients arriving after 4:20 PM for a walk-in lab visit may not be guaranteed service that day. Accommodating late arrivals is based on current patient volumes and operational capacity. Patients may be asked to return on another day.
Preparing for your appointment
To ensure optimal test results, please hydrate well with water before your appointment and follow your provider’s instructions for tests which require you to be fasting.
- If your provider is part of UCHealth:
- Please check your lab orders in My Health Connection. If you do not see an expected order, please contact your doctor’s office for clarification. This can help prevent delays and ensure you receive the care you need.
- If your provider is not part of UCHealth:
- Please bring your paper order for requested lab tests.
