UCHealth Jan Bishop Cancer Center is a state of the art cancer facility serving patients and their families in the Yampa Valley and beyond. The center embodies a modern design aesthetic with accents of natural stone and wood that create a soothing, healing environment throughout. Chemo infusion bays
There are four semi-private bays and four private chemo infusion rooms allowing patients the option to be social or have their own privacy depending on their preference. Each reclining infusion chair includes both the option of heat and massage to allow the patient to be as comfortable as possible during treatment. Each room has a flat screen TV with wireless headphones to help pass the time. The entire facility has free wifi for those wanting to use their personal computers, tablets, or cell phones.
Family and caretaker waiting area
The Center has a spacious family and caregiver waiting area with a gas fireplace and a computer station to do research, check emails, or surf the internet while waiting. In addition to this cozy waiting area, there is a spacious open air patio where family and friends can wait. Both of these spaces are also able to be utilized for Cancer Care group meetings.
