UCHealth Longmont Clinic endocrine specialists provide skilled, compassionate care using the latest proven techniques to diagnose and treat a broad range of endocrine-related conditions. It is our privilege to care for you in our clinic conveniently located on the Longmont Clinic campus.

Experts in endocrine care

Our board-certified endocrinologists specialize in adult endocrine disorders, diabetes, and thyroid disease.

Special interests include:

  • Adrenal disorders and adrenal tumors.
  • Insulin pump and sensor therapy.
  • Male hormonal problems.
  • Menstrual disturbance.
  • Pituitary diseases and pituitary tumors.
  • Thyroid disease – including hyperthyroid, thyroid nodules, goiter and thyroid cancer.
  • Type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

We look forward to meeting your health care needs. We welcome new patients with a referral from a primary care physician.

Diabetes care and education

The diabetes care team at UCHealth Longmont Clinic is a nationally recognized program that meets the American Diabetes Association standards for care and education.

Our team of endocrinologists and certified diabetes educators (registered nurses and registered dietitians) provide individual and group education, support and counseling for adults and children with diabetes and their families.

Our program offers information and support that will increase your understanding and empower you to manage diabetes, including:

  • Access to support groups.
  • Community resources.
  • Community-wide educational programs (available upon request).
  • Individual care and education.
  • Individual consultation and classes (available with a referral from your primary physician).

Diabetes classes and individual consultations are a Medicare benefit

Our monthly Diabetes Day to Day classes are designed for people newly diagnosed with diabetes or who desire better control. Registered dietitians and nurses will help you learn about:

  • Carbohydrate counting
  • Correcting the highs and lows
  • Diabetes medications
  • Dining out
  • Exercise
  • Grocery shopping
  • Illness concerns
  • Monitoring tips and timing

Scheduling

To schedule a physician appointment, please call our office, 720.494.3119. A referral from your primary care is required.

Insurance

UCHealth participates with many different insurance companies. Since insurance plans, policies and laws often change, please contact your insurance company to see if we are a contracted provider.

Please notify us if you have an insurance plan change, coverage change or insurance loss, so we can properly bill your claims in a timely manner.
