The UCHealth Burn Clinic – Anschutz Medical Center in metro Denver is the outpatient piece of Colorado’s premier burn center since 1976. We are one of 63 American Burn Association (ABA) verified locations in the United States and the first ABA-verified burn center in Colorado.

Our burn center model provides inpatient and outpatient services in one location. For patients, this means a seamless transition through their entire burn and frostbite recovery. We have specialized team members that partner with our provider team, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and a burn-trained psychologist. Our close proximity to the Inpatient Burn Center enhances the patient experience with familiar team members caring for the patient through their injury and recovery. We offer reconstructive appointments after burn injury and have an expansive peer support program for survivors and their families.

The UCHealth Burn and Frostbite Center at Anschutz is the first and longest-standing American Burn Center (ABA)-verified burn center in the Rocky Mountain region.
