UCHealth Behavioral Health Unit – Poudre Valley Hospital provides specialized behavioral health services close to home.

By offering thorough mental health assessments and treatment programs for adolescents, adults, senior citizens and families, we help people with mental health issues and substance abuse issues achieve a balanced life and a high level of health and well-being. Inpatient and outpatient programs are available.

Treatment is provided by developing the most comprehensive plan of care that includes family and, as needed, community members and community services. Our highly trained staff combines medical intervention with therapy sessions as a treatment approach that assists in rapid stabilization of mental health problems.

Our services

UCHealth Behavioral Health Unit – Poudre Valley Hospital accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare. The center also accepts fee for service and, if necessary, works with uninsured clients to develop a payment schedule.

We provide community education, a speaker’s bureau and continuing education for medical professionals.
