CeDAR – The Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation

CeDAR, located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in metro Denver is a renowned service line of UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. At CeDAR you’ll find targeted treatment for substance use disorders and the disease of addiction, as well as other co-occurring disorders.

CeDAR offers a full continuum of care, with services that range from inpatient detox and medical stabilization, residential and outpatient care to services for the family, recovery management and open support groups.

The full continuum of care is put in place because substance use disorders frequently manifest as chronic illness and respond best to a model of care that recognizes and acknowledges that reality.

CeDAR offers:

  • Intensive, medically managed detoxification and stabilization.
  • Intensive residential.
  • Extended residential.
  • Day treatment.
  • Intensive outpatient treatment.
  • Outpatient counseling.
  • Addiction psychiatry.
  • Integrated addiction medicine and primary care.

Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center

Located in Fort Collins, Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center offers personalized, family-focused care for substance abuse issues to help you achieve a balanced life with a high level of health and well-being.

It offers a short-term (typically 3-5 days) inpatient medical detox program and an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program for people recovering from an addiction to alcohol or drugs.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) focuses on education, skill building and processing. Research shows that group therapy is the most effective type of treatment for those in recovery. Family members are included once per week. Graduates from IOP can participate in our continuing care group at no cost.

To participate, you should want to:

  • Stop using drugs and alcohol.
  • Participate willingly in the program.
  • Learn how to cope with life effectively and without relying on substance use.
  • Learn about the disease of addiction and the impact it has on life in recovery.
