The emergency care services at UCHealth's front range facilities - Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, University of Colorado Hospital in metro Denver, and Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs - are well-equipped to treat minor burns.
If your burn injury requires additional assessment by a burn specialist, a consultation will be made to the Region’s top outpatient burn center at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora.
A referral may be made to our Burn Clinic or if hospital admission is necessary, arrangements will be made for a seamless transfer of care to our burn center.

Teams are made up of surgeons, registered nurses, burn technicians, psychiatrists, and pharmacists. Additional staff members include social workers, caseworkers, nutritionists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. These professionals combine their expertise to maximize your recovery and your quality of life.
