Early on in life, I realized I wanted to help people meet their goals and achievements while improving their quality of life. I have worked in the medical and counseling field for over 24 years. My career started within United States Navy where I served as a Navy Corpsman. After the Navy, I graduated in 2012 with my Masters in Counseling and moved on to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I recognize a great need for effective counseling to take a holistic approach through this process. I believe it is essential to consider an individual’s mental, physical and spiritual aspects to help them better. I have worked as a Clinical Therapist in multiple settings for the past 13 years with a variety of individual problems, including Relationships, Adjustment disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder, Mood Disorders, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, Trauma and issues that arise out of being a first responder.
I am passionate about helping others, and I believe that life experience is a must when choosing a counselor. Providing a safe place to share and grow while being challenged and encouraged is my priority in helping you become healthier and happier.
I was born in Wyoming and joined the Navy after graduating high school. After leaving active duty, I lived in Alaska for many years before returning to the West. I enjoy a variety of activities that involve the outdoors and nature. I enjoy adventure as much as relaxation in my free time with my wonderful wife and 4 children (two are grown and living life in Alaska and Iowa).
