From an early age, I have been drawn to technology, building things and solving complex problems. That curiosity initially led me to aerospace engineering, with research and fellowship experiences in several countries and ultimately a Fulbright Scholarship in Belgium, where I conducted research using wind tunnels and laser interferometry.
I was drawn to medicine by the opportunity to apply that same intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset to helping people more directly. Orthopaedic surgery became a natural fit, combining science, biomechanics, technical precision and hands-on problem-solving with the privilege of caring for patients. I trained at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and am now a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders and injuries of the upper extremity, from the shoulder to the fingertip.
I believe excellent care begins with listening. Every patient has unique goals, circumstances and expectations. My role is to understand what matters most to each patient, provide thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations, and explain treatment options clearly so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
I am fortunate to work alongside my Physician Assistant, and an outstanding team of medical assistants, athletic trainers, surgery coordinators and others. Together, we are committed to providing technically excellent, compassionate and personalized care.
