I have been in the clinical practice of Internal Medicine for about 20 years now, both in the outpatient and the inpatient world. Having experienced both styles of practice, I have come to realize that my greatest strength as a physician lies in my communication skills. I feel as though I am quite skilled at reading body language, understanding the emotion behind physical complaints, the barriers that keep patients from being successful in the efforts to improve their health. I very much enjoy investing the effort in developing a relationship of mutual respect with my patients, hoping to help them for years to come.

I am originally from Pennsylvania, but my husband and I have lived in Colorado for 19 years. I have three wonderful daughters, all teenagers (scary, I know). I am an avid outdoors person – I love skiing, biking (both mountain and road), hiking and running. My new passion is off-road dual sport motorcycling – we especially love playing in the Front Range on forest service roads. I love watching action sports – football and basketball. We are die hard Packer fans (forgive us). I have volunteered with the SET clinic, which is the uninsured clinic in Colorado Springs. I have also volunteered as a camp physician for four years running for my daughters’ sailing camp in North Carolina.
