My goal has always been to help people. In my career, I have been able to help people through the care that I provided as a nurse, and now as a family nurse practitioner. As your healthcare provider, I feel that building a relationship is an important part of a successful healthcare partnership. Through this partnership, we can establish a plan to work on your health goals. Through developing long-term partnerships with my patients, I am able to watch them grow, regain their health, maintain their health, and have the best quality of life possible. I feel that it is important to try to take a preventative approach to healthcare rather than reactive, hopefully preventing health problems through healthy lifestyle choices. Early detection of health issues can help aid in successful treatment. My goal is to provide knowledgeable, up-to-date and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. I try to bring practicality, calm, empathy, humor and a smile to every patient interaction.
I am married, and we have two teenagers. My family enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, going to the drive-in, and being together. Like I recommend for my patients, I try to have a good balance between my work life and home life. I believe that we’re all a work in progress!
