Helping people has always been my goal. I have been able to help people through the care that I provided as a nurse and now as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 15 years and enjoyed working with moms and their families as they delivered their babies. I worked in primary care for 6 years, which has given me a broad base of knowledge to help care for all types of people and health issues. I am excited to be working in women’s health again, as this is my “happy place”. Building a relationship is an important part of a successful healthcare partnership. Through this partnership, we can establish a plan to work on your healthcare goals. It is important to try to take a preventative approach to healthcare rather than reactive, hopefully preventing health problems through healthy lifestyle choices. Early detection of health issues can held aid in successful treatment. My goal is to provide knowledgeable, up to date, and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. I try to bring practicality, calm, empathy, humor, and a smile to every patient interaction. |
I am married, and we have two young adult children. My family enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, traveling, going to the drive-in, and being together. Like I recommend for my patients, I try and have a good balance between my work like and home life. I believe that we are all a work in progress. |

My clinical interest is providing the most cohesive, up to date, collaborative, and compassionate care to my patients across the lifespan. I enjoy the variety of care and relationships that family medicine provides and feel that I truly do learn something new every day! Due to the broad nature of practicing in family medicine, I feel that it is imperative to be constantly updating my knowledge base in order to provide the best care to my patients. Based on the patient's specific needs, I can provide the care and education needed to the patient as well as provide additional appropriate resources. As a primary care provider, my goal is to be the patient's heath care home and help coordinate my patient's health care needs.
