As an osteopathic physician, I combine comprehensive western medical training with a focus on the body’s ability to recover and maintain health. I have additional training in osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and experience working with athletes, emphasizing the importance of how the body, lifestyle and environment are all connected.
My goal is to help patients achieve lasting health in mind, body, and spirit—not just relief from symptoms.
Originally from Tennessee and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, I knew early on that I wanted to be a doctor. My pediatrician was always funny, and I thought it must be fun to be a doctor. I’ve always loved science and talking to people, so being a physician just made sense.
I am passionate about supporting families on their health journeys and enjoy the variety that comes with primary care. I am also committed to improving access to LGBTQ+ care, recognizing the gaps that exist in the current healthcare system. With each visit, I bring empathy, warmth and a personal connection. I remind myself that a patient may be having a terrible day when they come to see me. I want them to feel welcomed and cared for—and if I can make them smile, even better.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my pets—Mcat the cat and Zosyn the dog. I enjoy paddle boarding, skiing, camping, gardening, woodworking and spending time my family. I am also currently working on converting a van for future camping adventures and supporting my wife at ultramarathons.
