My philosophy of care revolves around the education of my patients. It is so important for them to be invested in their health, so if I can educate them regarding why we have developed the plan of care we have, they are much more likely to utilize this knowledge for current treatment, and hopefully to prevent future recurrences.

Why UCHealth?

After completing graduate school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2007, my goal was to work for the University of Colorado Hospital, as it was well-respected and was a teaching hospital. It’s involvement with so much research drew me to it, and to see the magnitude of what it’s become now as UCHealth is incredible. It is truly a world-class health care center.

Hobbies:

After growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Colorado allows my family and I the ability to enjoy all of our favorite outdoor activities on a LARGER scale! From camping, fishing and hunting, to hiking, skiing and mountain biking. It’s incredible! We do miss the water, but have recently begain paddleboarding, and there are a surprising amount of places to go here!

Clinical interest for patients

My clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic injuries, including pre and post-surgical patients (as well as those trying to avoid surgery!). I also find great satisfaction in treating the effects of neurological and neuromuscular pathology, as well as combining my love of cycling and the human body by performing a variety of bicycle fits to keep the two working in efficient harmony.
