I was trained in Osteopathic Medicine which emphasizes treating the whole patient, not just the disease symptoms. Beyond that I try to approach each patient as if they were a member of my family. How would I want my children or spouse treated? That is a frequent question I ask when caring for a patient in the hospital setting. This helps me be an advocate for the care my patients need and helps me guide my patients through the hospital system.

When I’m not in the hospital taking care of patents I enjoy spending time with family and friends hiking, skiing, Judo, golf and training my Golden Retriever.
