I do my best to use an evidence-based approach to preventative care for both my adult and pediatric patients. This means adherence to the well-established and studied childhood vaccination schedule, including seasonal influenza and covid vaccines when appropriate. For adults, this means staying up to date on vaccines in addition to cancer screenings. I place an emphasis on lifestyle modifications in the approach to treating chronic illness, but do not shy away from recommending medications when indicated. For acute illnesses, I try to only prescribe antibiotics when clinically indicated. I also believe mental health to be of utmost importance to my patients’ overall health and advocate for treatment through lifestyle changes, therapy and medication when appropriate. If you think my approach to care fits what you are seeking for yourself or your child, I look forward to joining you on your health journey!
