I believe in treating patients as I would want my own family treated. Taking the time to listen to my patient’s concerns, thoughts and ideas about how they would like to proceed with their care is of the upmost importance to me. My hope is that my patients will feel comfortable addressing any concern with me, no matter how small, and that they feel confident we will work to find a solution that is beneficial to both their health and lifestyle.

I grew up with both parents serving active duty in the United States Air Force, a fact which landed us in Colorado Springs in 2005. We were fortunate enough to get to stay here through all of my childhood, and I graduated from Colorado Springs Christian School in 2013. I received a scholarship to play volleyball at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA where I received my Bachelor of Arts in biology with a minor in chemistry in 2017. I then moved to Omaha, NE, to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Physician Assistant Program, which I received my Masters of Physician Assistant Science from in 2019. During my time at the University of Nebraska, I had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of primary care specialties in rural settings and absolutely fell in love with it. I so appreciated getting to know my patients on more personal basis that small towns allow. After completing PA school, I knew I wanted to come back to Colorado because my parents and siblings remained here, but I also knew I wanted to practice primary care in a rural setting if at all possible. UCHealth’s Woodland Park Family Medicine clinic is the absolute perfect fit for me, and I enjoy getting to know the residents of this community and caring for their health.

In my spare time, you can find me out hiking with my dog and boyfriend, cooking healthy meals, reading, skiing, gardening, practicing yoga and enjoying all this area has to offer.

Clinical interest for patients

I love working with a full spectrum of patients, from infancy to geriatrics. I am particularly passionate about caring for patient's and my own health through lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, stress reduction and living environment adjustments. I believe medications can be a useful and vital tool, but I also believe in trying lifestyle changes first and reducing medication doses when at all possible for the health and safety of my patients.
