My patient care philosophy is based on providing compassionate, competent, and optimal holistic and progressive care.
Why UCHealth?
UCHealth provides a phenomenal opportunity to work in partnership with other outstanding health care professionals who are dedicated to providing the utmost in patient care.
Why got in profession?
I became a nurse practitioner because I love being a nurse. As nurses we are taught to relate to patients, pay close attention to details, and approach health from a psychosocial model that takes the environment and interpersonal relationships into account when addressing disease and wellness. I wanted to advance my nursing skills to provide a higher level of care to the patients I provide care. The next step in my career progression was implementing the pathophysiologic/medical model and integrating this with the psychosocial model to provide holistic care.
Hobbies: I enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.
About me: I have three four-legged fur babies. I also enjoy serving my country as a nurse practitioner in the US Army Reserves.
