Tanya graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy from CSU. After a few years of working as an OT, Tanya continued her education and received a post-professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. Over the past 25 years, Tanya’s practice has evolved. Since receiving her OTD, Tanya has focused her practice on adolescent (10+) care with a specific interest in work with kids mental, emotional, and cognitive skills. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Mental Health through the American Occupational Therapy Association. She is especially interested in how executive functioning skills impact the daily functioning abilities of adolescents. Tanya participates in our multi-disciplinary feeding with a special interest and knowledge in Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFIDS). Tanya teaches in the mental health and pediatrics labs in the Entry Level OTD program for Creighton University’s Regis University Pathway. In addition to her work, Tanya enjoys time with her dogs, quilting and sewing, crafts of many types and a variety of puzzle types.
