My approach to treating patients is to have patient-centered care that is holistic in nature. I enjoy collaborating with the patient. I respect the patients’ concerns, questions, preferences and needs and encourage shared decision-making. I enjoy working with my patients to establish a relationship, set goals and meet expectations.
My background is in emergency medicine, urgent care and neonatal intensive care. With over 26 years in medicine, I’m very comfortable taking care of patients from birth through the lifespan.
After spending 20 years as an Air Force wife, we retired in 2006 from the Air Force Academy. We loved our assignment in Colorado and that has been home since.
We have 2 grown daughters that are both married and have blessed us with a grandson each. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, traveling and going to the Rockies game. I love the game of baseball and will go to any and every game I can.
