I believe in treating patients and family members the way I want to be treated in similar situations, with care, kindness and honesty.

I am married with two step-daughters and three grandchildren with whom I love to spend time. I will be volunteering with Dr. Simmons at the Christ Clinic. I have been very involved with the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants.

Why did you get into the medical profession?
My dad had a massive heart attack when I was a young child and I spent much of my childhood caring for him. I listened and learned as I accompanied him to doctor visits and developed a keen interest which grew into a passion for cardiovascular care.

Why did you choose to work for UCHealth?
I believe UCHealth offers great access to academic medicine in a community setting. That’s the best of both worlds.
