Dr. Suraj Singh joined UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in 2022 and is the Medical Director of UCHealth Radiation Oncology – Pueblo. He comes from Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. His clinical interests include gynecological, prostate, head/neck, breast, CNS, GI, thoracic and hematological malignancies. Dr. Singh has been recognized for his expertise in multiple radiotherapy techniques including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), volumetric modulated arc therapies (VMAT), prostate and gynecologic brachytherapy, including High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy.
Dr. Singh grew up in South Pasadena, California. He graduated magna cum laude from Claremont Mckenna College with dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology. While there he actively participated in behavioral and basic science research. He completed his medical training at New York Medical College and went on to complete his preliminary medicine and radiation oncology residency at New York Medical College. He served as chief resident during his last year of residency and remained active in academic pursuits including research and medical education. During his residency, he presented multiple abstracts and presentations at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meetings. Dr. Singh also sits on the board of directors for the Avery Huffman DIPG Foundation, a foundation committed to finding a cure for childhood brain cancers.
Dr. Singh is a board-certified radiation oncologist.
When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. He is an avid golfer and snowboarder.
