A CU Medicine provider.

Family medicine, helping people feel physically and mentally the best they can so they can live their best life, is all about caring for individuals in their own family setting, with “family” having such a broad and variable meaning. “Family” can mean the people formative in the young years, the people who share genetic code, the people with whom one works or plays, the people in a neighborhood or community, and all the way to the “family of humans.” My joy in being a family physician is to learn about and appreciate patients as part of their “health family” and to work together so they feel their best in all aspects of the rest of their world.
