I believe it is important to involve the patient in every aspect of their care so they understand what is going on with their health and the reasons for medications, tests, procedures and other recommendations. The more that patient’s know about their own health, the more they can have a positive impact.

I grew up around health care providers and medicine always interested me. I chose to be a physician assistant because it allows me to spend more time with my patients and practice in a variety of different areas.

Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy fly fishing, snowboarding, mountain biking and backpacking – basically anything outdoors. I’m also a hug Colorado Buffaloes fan. I am happily married, and we have two dogs.
