My practice is committed to delivering patient-centered care. I believe the best care is individualized. I strive to treat each patient as if he or she is a close friend or family member. It is my mission to provide straightforward and transparent education. My job is to explain options and work with patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. I advocate for conservative treatment options before more invasive alternatives. I advise my patients to be prepared to discuss nutrition, lifestyle changes and exercises in addition to other invasive alternatives, such as medications, injections or surgical options.
Originally from the beautiful Pacific-Northwest, Seattle, Washington, I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Washington. I came to sunnier Colorado and completed my Doctor of Pharmacy education at the University of Colorado. While I practiced as a pharmacist, I felt there was something missing from my career. With my interest in working with people and preventative medicine, I completed my training in family medicine. Lastly, with my love for running and cycling, I concluded my training with advance education in sports medicine. I have completed a number of marathons and triathlons, and want my patients to do the same. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and two children.

Sports Medicine
When you experience an injury or illness involving your spine, bones, muscles, or joints, a board-certified sports family medicine physician can be a practical first step toward evaluating and treating many conditions, including injuries and other medical conditions. I am trained to pinpoint problems and provide non-operative interventions and treatments. With my family and sports medicine focus, I hope to relieve pain, enhance performance, and regain function.Musculoskeletal / Sports medicine
