Sharon Petty is a level 3 clinical specialist physical therapist with UCHealth for over 30 years. She specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction treating both men and women for urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, pelvic floor prolapse, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Sharon is trained in visceral manipulation for scar tissue and pain management, trigger point dry needling, as well as biofeedback for pelvic floor muscle retraining. She graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy in 1984 and received her Clinical Doctorate in 2006 from Regis University. Sharon is a clinical specialist as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association holding both her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist. She has also been a lab assistant with Herman and Wallace pelvic floor education classes.
