Dr. Shane Rothermel is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in hip and knee joint replacement and revision joint replacement. Additionally, Dr. Rothermel guides his patients through non-surgical and surgical options for musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip or knee. Common conditions treated by Dr. Rothermel include degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, infection, and fracture. He also evaluates patients having difficulty after prior hip or knee replacement.

Dr. Rothermel is a former collegiate athlete and tries to maintain an active lifestyle. He enjoys running, cycling, swimming, snowboarding, mountain biking, and, generally, spending time outdoors with family and friends.
