In the field of medicine, one needs not only to have vast medical knowledge, but also the intuition and wisdom to apply this knowledge effectively. Herein lies the art of medicine. My primary focus as a physician is to combine science and art to provide the best care possible for my patients. This includes spending time at the bedside, discussing treatment plans in understandable terms, and involving the patient in shared decision making. This also requires time spent away from the bedside in keeping up with medical literature and continuing education. I look forward to contributing to the health and well being of the Longmont community.
