My clinical interests include management of benign and malignant pancreaticobiliary disease including – pancreatic cysts, acute and chronic pancreatitis, complications of pancreatitis (pseudocysts, necrosis, pancreatic duct strictures), early detection of pancreas cancer, endoscopic therapy for bile duct strictures (cancers, primary sclerosing cholangitis, autoimmune hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis), ERCP in patients with surgically altered anatomy, and endoscopic management of bariatric surgery complications. Dr. Bhalla has a keen interest in EUS-guided therapeutic interventions to allow for creative problem solving to improve the quality of life for his patients.
