My personal philosophy of care for trauma is centered on providing safe, compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care to every patient. I believe that trauma affects individuals physically, emotionally, psychologically and socially, and that each person responds to traumatic experiences differently. As a healthcare professional, I believe it is important to see the patient as a whole person rather than focusing only on the injury or medical diagnosis.
