I have a particular interest In cardiovascular and kidney health, including the management of hypertension, heart disease and chronic kidney disease. My research has focused on fibrotic disease processes across a wide range of conditions, and the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive them. I have published peer reviewed work on fibrosis and have also led clinical projects related to cardiac arrest. Additionally, I am interested in the complex interactions between heart and kidney function, along with novel biomarkers to better understand disease progression and improve risk stratification in cardiac, vascular and kidney, and other systemic conditions.
