I believe in providing individualized care to meet each patient’s unique needs. Every patient merits excellence when it comes to their care. This demands not only a thorough knowledge of today’s best medical evidence, care guidelines and advances, but also an understanding of the patient’s values and life goals. Within this context, we will make the best-informed decisions, together.
I love spending time outdoors, regardless the season. I am an avid golfer. My wife and I feel very fortunate to call beautiful southern Colorado home—with readily accessible nature and open spaces to explore. I greatly enjoy hiking, mountain biking and skiing with friends and family. And, I am excited to gain more fly-fishing experience in the upcoming years.

- Clinical interest for patients
My interests within cardiovascular medicine are diverse. I am intrigued by the evolving role of multi-modality imaging approaches to complex cardiovascular disease—particularly with respect to valvular/structural heart disease and cardio-oncology practices. I value real-time hemodynamic data obtained within the catheterization lab and invasive cardiology’s on-going important role in the diagnosis and management of a variety of cardiovascular disease states. Lastly, I enjoy system operations and exploring opportunities for improving value-based care for patients and the healthcare system, alike.
