My approach to therapy is authentic, direct, and collaborative. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that individuals are experts on their own lives and that each of us has an innate ability for resilience and growth. My role as a therapist is to help you tap into your own insight and strength, while providing a safe and supportive space for self-exploration and healing. In order to support you in reaching your goals, I utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution-focused brief intervention.
For me, some important forms of self-care include traveling with my husband, distance running, working in my garden, and drinking coffee.
