I practice a patient-centered care approach, where I serve as an advisor to my patients regarding their health. I present the various options available for a particular issue, empowering them to choose the treatment path that best aligns with their life and health goals. My goal is to collaborate with my patients in achieving their health objectives, rather than dictating what they should or should not do.

I grew up in rural South Carolina. I attended the University of South Carolina for undergrad (Go Gamecocks!). Prior to going to medical school, I backpacked a large section of the Appalachian trail over a period of about 4 months. This lead to my love of the mountains and willingness to try new things. I attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in beautiful Charleston, SC. I always thought I would go into primary care and my interest in this field only deepened in medical school. I completed my residency training with Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency in the greater Charlotte, NC area. I am married to my wonderful wife, Sarah.
