PARTNERSHIP-BASED MEDICINE: Partnership with patients; Partnership with families and caregivers; Partnership with allied-health professionals; Partnership with medical and surgical specialists. I focus on the whole patient and assist with making the best individual medical decisions for that individual. I respect patient autonomy, while including the views of families and caregivers. I emphasize a less is more attitude towards medications and unnecessary tests and focus on maximizing physical and mental function.
I am an avid gardener and enjoy playing golf (badly).
