I feel blessed to have the opportunity to care for patients in the operating room and intensive care unit. In the OR, I strive to make patients and their families feel comfortable and understand the care they are going to receive. In the ICU, I believe that it is imperative to assess each patient individually and direct all the care we give toward ends that are in line with their wishes and to play a part in getting them back to life away from the hospital.
