Dr. Rebekah Zaluzec believes in being involved in all aspects of patient care. From consult to long term follow up, Dr. Zaluzec strives to partner with her patients to address their needs. Her patient care approach involves listening intently to the aesthetic wishes of her patients and expertly assessing surgical options ranging from cancer treatment and reconstruction, to the nuances and facial symmetry in aesthetic procedures.

She is a board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. After completing her formal training in plastic and reconstruction surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, she pursued an additional fellowship in Austin, Texas to broaden her expertise focusing on aesthetic plastic surgery. Prior to beginning her career as a Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Zaluzec completed her general surgery residency at one of the busiest trauma centers in Chicago, and is also a board certified general surgeon.

She has published many papers and book chapters in both aesthetic and reconstructive journals throughout her medical career and enjoys teaching new and upcoming surgeons.

All aspects of personal health and wellness of the body are a passion for Dr. Zaluzec. She holds a Bachelor’s in Science in Kinesiology (study of human movement/exercise physiology) from Arizona State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to beginning her formal medical training, Dr. Zaluzec completed a yearlong apprenticeship with Power Pilates. She has a true, lifelong passion for health and fitness, and helping her clients and patients meet their fitness, personal, health and aesthetic goals. Her surgical interests focus on breast and body rejuvenation and reconstruction, non-invasive aesthetic modalities as well as facial aesthetics.

In her free time, Dr. Zaluzec enjoys running around with her young twins! She loves to stay active, snowboards and skis, and cannot wait to teach her children. She is passionate about exercise as a way to relieve stress and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle.
