I have practiced medicine now for over forty years. While close listening and diagnosing illness correctly remain important, I emphasize prevention of illness more than ever. I believe we need to focus on weight management, diet and exercise to maintain optimal health. Becoming a fully active person in our elderly years does not occur by chance. It is most often achieved by focusing on improving balance, strength and stamina as we age.
I am passionate about the practice of medicine which is why I “came out of retirement” this year to rejoin my practice partners. My wife and I are first time grandparents this year. We have three sons. We manage a small ranch in Steamboat and live with our horses and two dogs. We love to trail ride with our horses, ski, gather with friends and travel.
