Rashmita Patel graduated from Gujarat University in India in 2003 where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, followed by her transitional doctorate degree through Evidence in Motion institute in 2017.  Rashmita became a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2018.  She is certified in Vestibular rehabilitation and LSVT Big treatment to Parkinson’s patients.  Rashmita is passionate about treating geriatric and neurological patients and has focused her practice on treating patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, poor balance and falls, cancer, and vestibular dysfunction.   She achieves excellent patient outcomes through the use of evidence based motivational interviewing and practices strategies to engage her patients in self-care, compliance with exercise programs, and health and fitness.  Rashmita enjoys spending her non-clinical time with her husband and two daughters biking, hiking and engaging in spiritual activities.
