Dr. Keesling grew up in Woodland Park, Colorado and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She then went east to the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine where she earned both a Master of Public Health and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. Finally, she completed her family medicine residency at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Long Island, N.Y. Dr. Keesling is trained in osteopathic manipulative therapy.

Dr. Keesling enjoys travel, both domestic and abroad, and has spent time in the Amazon, where she learned to speak Spanish fluently. She has also visited Ghana, Togo and Benin on medical mission trips and looks forward to continuing mission work. She also enjoys reading, playing piano and guitar, riding motorcycles and ATVs, and spending time with friends and family.
