I was born and raised in Bulgaria, a country where the everyday greeting is “zdravei” (which means be healthy) and the greatest form of wealth is good health.

I moved to the United States in 1998 and I brought this belief with me. I strive to help my patients live long and healthy lives. Endocrine disorders are usually complex and long lasting, yet treatable. The key to that is a strong patient-physician relationship.

I like to spend time listening to my patients’ concerns and expectations, finding an accurate diagnosis, explaining mechanisms of their condition, and reviewing potential treatment options. I feel grateful and privileged to be an endocrinologist that serves patients’ medical needs, and is a part of their life journeys, by offering individualized, competent and compassionate care.

I am married and have three children. Moving to Colorado has brought my family closer to the mountains and allowed us to engage in more of the activities we love, such as hiking and skiing.

I am passionate about Bulgarian folk dancing, singing and performing on stage. Exploring new international food recipes, creating homemade presents, and sharing them with friends and family also bring me joy.
