My goal is to provide expert clinical care during which we focus on compassion with a human touch for our heart surgery patients. Patients at their most vulnerable time have considerable stress. Encouragement and education allow them to thrive in the postoperative surgical period and return to an active life.

Dr. Paula Johnson graduated from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and a Master’s Degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. Her background is in TAVR coordination, heart valve disorder management and screening.

Hobbies:
I enjoy reading and exploring national parks.
